Why free?

Everyone deserves a good domain name. Whether you are building a side project, a portfolio, or experimenting with hosting, you should not have to pay for a domain just to get started.

How it works

Each subdomain is stored as a JSON file in our GitHub repository. When you register a subdomain through the dashboard or a pull request, a GitHub Action syncs the DNS records to our DNS provider automatically.

Open Source

The entire project is open source. You can contribute, report issues, or fork it to create your own free subdomain service.

DNS Records Supported

  • A — IPv4 address
  • AAAA — IPv6 address
  • CNAME — Alias to another domain
  • TXT — Text records (verification, SPF, etc.)
